HELP LEUCHIE HOUSE

Leuchie House charity fundraising event being held at Tyninghame House Gardens Open Day, just outside Tyninghame Village on Sunday 13th May.

Leuchie House has been operating as an independent charity since July 2011 and relies on donations and fundraising events to remain open.

“Leuchie House in North Berwick is the charity nominated by Tyninghame House to benefit from their Gardens Open Day on Sunday 13th May. The gardens will be open from 1.00pm until 5.00pm and 40% of the total takings (admission charges, plant sale, home-baking & teas) will go to Leuchie.

Admission to the gardens is £5.00 for adults and children are free. All the cakes will be home-baked and afternoon teas will be served from 1.00pm in “The Piggery” tearoom by the “Friends of Leuchie”.

“Come and join us for afternoon tea and enjoy a delicious array of home-baking. Take the opportunity to stroll around the estate gardens and view the Spring flowers… the wild primroses and bluebells are blooming!”

Tyninghame House Gardens Open Day is supported by Scotland’s Gardens Scheme and is one of only 7 estates in Scotland to have been awarded ‘Outstanding’ for every category in the Inventory of Gardens & Designed Landscapes of Scotland.
