Months of waiting are over. We are thrilled to be able to tell you, we’ve been awarded an FM License by OFCOM.
You will soon be able to listen to us on your kitchen radio, in the car, even in the shower! (Don’t worry, we will keep broadcasting on the Internet too!)
We don’t know what frequency we’re being given, or when we will start broadcasting but we wanted to bring you this fantastic news as soon as we got it.
A huge, huge ‘Thank you’ goes to everyone – past and present – who has contributed to and supported East Coast FM over the last 3 years as we worked towards this day. Special thanks however must go to the team responsible for preparing and submitting our successful bid to OFCOM, Bob Macdonald, Karen Chapman and our Team Leader & Station Manager, Ian Robertson.
